opinion of James King?

Slow 4.9 LB sure he is MODERN CANE material...

we are not building a program we are fielding a football team

No. They should've gone after Talan, but the staff doesn't prioritize speed and athleticism. At all.

King over Talan and Gordinier over Curtis are egregious evaluation errors.

Scary thing is we have him for 4 years now. All the good players leave early, get suspended, kicked off or home sick. The others just occupy roster spots and scholarships

Both of them could get ran off eventually.

King's underrated. The BTW staff thinks highly of him. Barrow was close to offering when he was still on the staff. You might look back and say he was the biggest steal.

40 yard dash is irrelevant to middle linebackers . This kid can PLAY . He's played arguably to toughest schedule in the country , good football instincts and good size and motor .

Theres plenty of line backers in the NFL that have run 4.9+ at the combine

Coming back from down 3-1. Very impressive. Although I think I just saw Curry gunning another 3 pointer as I typed this.

becomes the sixth Miami player to leave the program since Richt was hired in December. He joins offensive lineman Tyler Grimsley, wide receiver Tyler Brady, running back Walter Tucker, tight end Jerome Washington and linebacker Marques Gayot.

It's good to see Mark Richt shed the frigging dead weight that was on this team. Goes to show that he's not taking anybody on this team that he wouldn't have offered at Georgia. Mark Richt has enough respect for himself and this program to not emulate the last failed HC at this university.

Im not a fan of package deals. I don't know outside the QB position if one player is worth two ships. Maybe a guy couldn't line up at safety or linebacker, but they could contribute on special teams. I probably would be willing to take that guy along with a superstar, provided the tertiary guy was a team player that understood his role.
