As of 5 minutes ago, 488 tickets remain. Yesterday there were 572. This game will easily sellout. Sadly I'm 800 miles away and its midweek. If you're within 2 hours, get your *** there.

This thread has reminded me that I will be in town 25th-28th for a quick visit. Canes play FSU at the BUC on the 27th! Guess I know where I'll be.

People waiting to see if we beat duke before they commit to the rest of the games. Lol Miami fans.

I can't help but laugh at the irony of Miami fans worrying about beating Duke in football and Duke fans worrying about beating Miami in basketball.

I read a post in another thread saying they don't care about our basketball team. Makes me wonder if people realize that it's better for the entire athletic program, and the school itself, for all of our teams to be successful and visible. :mmkay:

I tend to find that people that only care about the success of the football team attach their self-worth and masculinity to the team.

I kid you not, further proof of our terrible fan base. Our fan base also has a bunch of fans who love OTHER BASKETBALL TEAMS.

We call them half-bloods.

My theory is in the 80s when our football team was GLORIOUS, these half-bloods made an allegiance to the football team. The problem was in the mid-80s our Basketball team wasn't as good as our proud football team. They figured, pick another random team and go with it.

You can pick your team but you cannot pick your fan base.

We have thousands of fans who are football only fans. They have no idea that we even have a basketball team, and that the University of Miami is, in fact, a University. They think its an NFL franchise. It's maddening.
