What does last season have to do with this season? I can understand if they had all the same players, and we had all the same players, but they lost seven starters on defense, and have a new defensive scheme.

If all the variables were the same, I would agree with you, but they are not. And again, if you are so confident, then beat the game like Cybercane suggested.

Duke and Dorset were both injured and Hurns was MIA (banged up) that game as well.

Don't forget we also had a bad Stephen Morris that night, I don't hate the guy but he drove me nuts with his inconsistency last year and he did not show up as the leader for the bowl game to make up for the other losses on offense.

This year our offense will not be so easy to stop.

Oh yeah, they only lost their best player of all time from last year.

Anyone who bet the Canes early part of last season made a ton of dough. I predict the same to happen this year. I will be in Vegas Labor Day Weekend and will gladly and confidently post my ticket for 10 dimes on the Canes (unless that line moves under three).

Well, then you have me at a huge disadvantage, because I've never welched on a bet in my 49 years.

I'm serious about this. I'm in Vegas the end of September, so it will be too late to post a bet.
I don't trust online sites, as the last people I want with my financial information is a casino in Panama.

No its not that... you just done get many rep points for betting against the canes, and winning, and then bragging about it... Ive been posting in the Joe Green gambling thread on the WEZ for a while now..I actually lost big betting for florida to win... Never bet more than a couple hundred..usually about $50

Canes win this game by 13. UL will not have an answer for the offensive weapons we bring, and while we can all question what our Defense will/will not do, we will have more than enough offense to compensate.

As a reminderuke was out, Dorsett was out, Hurns was hurt, Morris was not there mentally. Flip side, Bridgewater came out with something to prove. UL players were sending off Strong as they knew he was gone. Bottomline, it was the perfect storm in favor of UL.
