You’re not perma-purgatoried. I specifically unbanned and added you and Smokey back in here and would not have done so just to keep it permanent. You can actually be admitted back on pretty easily. @UrineDaloop is in charge though so this all runs through her.

It’s evolved. And it depends what the issue is/was. Some posters need to agree not to do certain things and we’ll let them back after a timeout here. Some need to acknowledge the behavior and agree not to do it and we let them back on. Others are just in here to cool off. @UrineDaloop runs it, poster to poster. Every situation is different. We’ve made some adjustments and have had positive results with a number of people who came in here and went back on to the board.
