I get there's still time, but not a single commit after a bad finish to HS recruiting doesn't bode well for us when momentum is huge when it comes to recruiting. If he can't recruit at an elite level, which he hasn't this year, what value does he provide as UM HC?

Well, considering Guidry's situation that is 100% up to Mario now isn't it? Duke already got Mensah in the portal so QBs are coming off the board, but I guess Mario will wait until mid-January to make a decision (or hope another elite QB falls into his lap). Indecision is for the weak...

But the slurpers on here continue to buy the company line. Mario has been below average in the portal...he got lucky with Ward when he changed his mind in mid-January to come here. In 2023, he didn't feel the need to get a portal QB, and we sucked with TVD, etc. In 2024, he failed miserably to improve the defense, specifically LB and the entire secondary, and it cost us a possible ACC championship and the playoffs
