Once this Class finishes top 12

if we get the UCLA and the VTech DE's along with George pickens, Williams and a few others this will be one of our best classes in the past 20 years lol

Getting multi year transfers is recruiting actually. Class was done after Diaz was named the head man. He has to do what he had to do at this point with most of the talent pool signed in the early signing period.

With the explosion of the transfer market, this is changing. Getting guys like Martell, Martin, Bolden, and hopefully Phillips is a lot more than nice

It is with the portal action we’ve had. I just don’t see how we crack the top 20. We’d have to land Bogle, MAR, Williams, Pickens, Asante, and a QB to break the top 15. It ain’t happening. We’d be extremely lucky to crack the top 20 which would mean all those guys except Pickens. The likely spot 25ish.

Here's the thing.

Hot Portal Action is great - I'm genuinely loving whats happening with that...but thats being done because of the failures of previous classes. Those moves are patching holes and even still, Top 12 (even if we got there WITH the transfers) its not a championship caliber class. You've got to have over a 91 on 247 to really say that. Miami is at like an 87 at this point, and if you put Miami's best foot forward - transfers included - I am not sure they get to that level. Too many players in the class that are incredibly low rated (below an .87 on 247). Very hard to have a strong class with that many eye test risks. We have 7 of those at the moment, FWIW.

I get you don’t want to rely on the portal. However, this would be a top 5 class with the portal and landing all the guys I mentioned.
