On Sitkowski

When do the idiots around here finally figure out that everyone looks great when it's flag football?

I'll leave it to the experts that do the evaluations and the coaches that get paid millions to find the right players. Seems like CMR has found a great one. He looks like a 5 star physically, he's continued to improve and will continue to get coached up at IMG. After a strong season, he could be a 5 star. Go be a b*tch somewhere else

Dem feelz? Did my logic touch em?

I think he's an absolutely fantastic prospect. With an emphasis on the word prospect. Anxious to see how he does this year in high school and IMG.

I also agree with the assessment of these flag football games. It's a completely different thing than actual football. If we used it as the only basis, then here's who we would be signing up:

The 2 QB's he reminds me of when I watch his film/drills: Nick Foles & Zach Mettenberger (who Richt actually recruited to UGA)...

I think Sitkow has a better arm & a greater upside, but as of right now, the closest comparisons I see as far as his on the field play to me is Mettenberger or Foles.

Not talking about their NFL careers, but merely comparing them in style of play as college QB's (and both of them actually had pretty **** good College careers).

Sit is already a top 5 QB in the nation despite his Junior year, that pretty much lets you know how good this kid can be as he continues to develop.

It's 7 v 7 soon wouldnt take too much stock into it. We all agree the tools are there but he has to continue to develop. Also he just threw an INT to lose his game. He sucks again!

You're gonna leave it to the coaches who get paid? Folden and Doritos got paid. It's a fcking discussion board. If all we can do is say "Wow he's the greatest player ever" when we get a flag football report you might as well close this place down.

We have some terrible fans, had it been any other qb committed to another team some of you would be hyping them up right now or a db recruit like jobe/Campbell. Would you still be saying it's just shorts if they balled? No.... but if sitkowski was having a bad day you would be all over him... quit trying be so indifferent all the **** time so if a player happens to fail you can go back and say I told you so years later.

You are a certified nincompoop, broke. I keep trying to get people to like you, and all you do is repay me by saying dumb **** and by attacking fellow fans.

You realize playing CB in 7 on 7 touch football is different than playing QB right? If you can cover in that environment it is a lot more relevant than playing QB with no pass rush.

There are guys who can't make the read, or can't make the throw with a guy in your grill. But if you can't even make it in shorts, QB isn't for you. That, at least, you can tell from 7-on-7.

7 on 7 tells you he has the physical tools. He passes the look and smell test. More than that, you can't say.

He's going to have some ballers on his side of the ball this year at IMG.

Don't get me wrong, he's a total take, even if he was going to enroll tomorrow at 16, because the idea is we develop him. But as far as the actual game skills he's an unfinished and unknown product right now. With a little luck, and assuming he develops himself and is developed by coaching - he has the overt physical tools to be something special

the polish hammer is gonna be in paradise for real with the OL and receivers that dude is gonna have

Sitkowski is the truth.

Those who are (understandably) skeptical will see the light this fall now that he's at IMG.

There's only two outlooks that are reasonable with him at this stage, skeptical or cautiously optimistic. Anyone thinking differently is blind

with all due respect to combines, 7 on 7's, guys in shorts, et. etc.,

all that matters is what happens when players are in pads.

the rest is just conversation.

Every site has spoken highly of him this week and have gave him more praise than a few 5 stars qbs that were also in attendance. Idc about his stats in that last offense, I believe he will do great with better talent around him to throw to. With that being said he has a lot of elite tools at the qb position and is one of Miami's best overall recruit talent wise at the position in years. Definitely up there with kaaya, perry and Allison

Flexible hips.

Honestly if he balls at IMG i think he will be a 5 star. He would also build good chemistry with brian hightower.

Every qb makes interceptions in 7on7, it's not exclusive to sitkowski lol

I think you're missing the point. These 7 on 7 camps don't do QBs any favors as everyone knows that these guys aren't getting pass rushed so they could just sit there until someone's open. This tests the receivers and corners more if anything. And also it's a consistent trend now where his TD/INT ration in high school is abysmal and it's being highlighted at these 7 on 7 circuits.

I'm glad we have him for the reason he has the physical make up. If Richt gets him right, then cool. But I'm not going to hype him up as being someone who'll walk in to Miami his frosh year and unseat either Weldon, Perry or Allison.
I'm not missing a point all I'm saying is that ints happen in 7 on7s. It is what it is

And they appear to be happening at a frequency that it's worth mentioning in a 7 on 7 camp circuit. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have thrown interceptions in their respective careers as well, everyone does it just like you've said. But you usually don't question their ability to read the field which is what the evaluation was.
That was in there because it simply was a bad read on an int that knocked his team out of play on Sunday.
Regardless everyone gave him rave reviews on both days[TWEET]838878680147443716[/TWEET]

And again.....it's a 7 on 7 circuit. I like that he's in our class. But you need to be realistic and stop criticizing other posters who have their doubts.
