On Paper... not a bad class

There are some good players, and overall not too many questionable takes.

The biggest concerns are that our biggest needs weren’t prioritized. OL had a historically good class in SFL and we struck out while still only taking 2. Our CB and safety recruiting continue to suck. LB had one good take, one questionable, and several misses.

I’m glad we can solidify strengths, though.

1. Hype man gonna hype that's his job

2. A few will develop most will not

3. You're welcome

Nope... he will provide a real assessment. Guy is ususally spot on.

This is my view... we addressed some need for some talent but coaching and culture are still killing us

I actually really like the kids that signed and still have a couple months to fill out the few holes remaining. There’s plenty of ballers in this class but it’s unpopular to support the Canes on CIS so 90% of what you will see today will be the typical ****ting on the class and whining about kids that clearly didn’t want to come here.

I just stopped by to make sure Roberts had signed because 24/7 hadn’t included him with the other signees yet. You guys enjoy jerking each other off and trying to come up with crafty insults and nicknames for the coaches though.

Overall I think this will prove to be a good class. If Van Dyke turns out to be an answer at qb then this class will look pretty strong. The big obvious question is what will be accomplished to add offensive linemen.

But I want to see two things

1. DMONEY evaluation of the class including how well we addressed needs. His view of the potential...
2. Boards view of IF this staff can take the talent and produce something better than 6-6
we were more talented then everyone we played(yes you can make the argument we were not more talented then gaytors)

It does not matter if we have no kicker and run an offense from the 80s

You just signed bar none the best RB class in the entire country.

Hire an offensive coordinator and his OL coach who can maximize those abilities, and cook.

Great, we loaded up on RBs like we always should. Won’t change a thing. This class is a disappointment considering we didn’t fill any of our holes.

Yep, good class if don't plan on fielding an offensive line, corner backs or linebackers.

I am surprised they were able to hold on to most the class after this abortion of a season, so I got to give them some credit. Now this day is over, Manny needs to fire Enos, Barry, Rumph, Banda, Patke, and Stubbs. When he's done doing that, he should brush up on his own resume, he'll need it soon.

The one that needs to be filled coaches the offense. That's #1. That immediately fills a lot of the holes that you and other think we have.

We failed to address our needs at CB, OL, LB

LB isn't that really big a need IMO unless BJ, Steed, and Joyner all can't recover from injury. Huff, Brooks, and 53, should be good enough with the newbies sprinkled in, unless we plan to go back to a 4-3. Either way, it's not like our senior LB's performed any better. But OL and CB are very bad.

Stoked about Jalen Rivers and a few others. But, we have a lackluster class when compared with the top programs.

No, I don't have faith that the current staff will do much in the way of getting the most out of many of these guys. If things don't change, we will see this Top 20 rated class on paper become a bottom 40 team.

Kicker?
