Outside of us constantly blaming the staff for any recruiting shortcomings and the usual 'bags' narrative I was trying to think what type of negative recruiting may be happening outside of the stadium attendance excuse.

1. Kaaya is leaving. No one behind them.
2. Richt hasn't won very much in years.
3. Miami is dangerous (another common one)
4. You have to go to class/Richt is strict (see retarded Sam Bruce)
5. Chongas will wrench your **** off.

Not very creative but we also just lost Gibson. Another local stud. Clearly some garbage must be going on crap talking our program.

I never heard the term "negative recruiting" until Golden started using it to explain away his many recruiting failures.

That expression can fade away, just like "coal shovelers," "clock punchers", "WEfence", "pillars," etc

Go to the Gibson thread. There's more to it. I think staff dropped him because he was playing around with Oregon just days before he was to be an EE.
