On Ben Hanks…

Can anyone explain the stir up drama part what is the motive or I am just not understanding that part
If everyone knows Hanks is going to commit to UF, its not that big of a recruiting win, the shine of the commit is a bit dull.

They want to make it seem like it was super close, miami had him in the bag and UF's superior recruiting machine beat us head to head when it was never really that close. Then they can tout it to try and gain momentum on the trail, no different that people putting UGA or Bama in their top 3 when they dont even have an offer from them, just stirring up drama and you can say you beat Bama for a recruit.

This. They want to set this up as a big recruiting win against a rival but in fact it’s just a legacy staying home. Gator

Gaby just wrote an article after speaking with him today. He was up watching Hanks' practice. One line in particular stood out to me:

While a part of Hanks already knows where he plans to play his college football, there are still a few things that will help the blue-chip cornerback know for certain where he's headed.

"I would say first thing, me going up there to compete, play as a freshman. Just do everything in the box that I want to check off in. Also bringing my sister along with me in this situation. That's my twin, so family thing."
[disregard]*

There was a rumor that he committed to the staff. Which was untrue. I’ve been clear that I thought both VB and Hanks were going to be tough pulls. VB being close to a lock.

Who on the canes side was peddling that?

Need to know who the UF side thinks are the weak links and use to spread their disinformation 👀

If he was so UF, then why hasn't he committed yet? Guess is the dad knows the coach might not be there and will let it play out before letting his kid commit
