Olsen is the future

Olsen came in as a brand name, he missed his senior season pretty much and if he was going to be the future he would of been the started this upcoming up season

Kaaya is more of a field general type and I think he comes in more focused than Olsen. I would love for Olsen to step it up and take over but if it hasn't happened yet.. it probably won't

I also think Kaaya has that "it" factor where you can count on him not to give up and giggle and eat a sneakers bar on the sideline while we lose a game.

Even if Kevin put in work you think Al with his loyalty to seniors would let KO start over Mr Morris? That answer would be a resounding no...

Coley is the one that brought in Kaaya, if Kaaya is better than Olsen there won't be any seniority here. I think Golden gave the seniors leeway this year because of the NCAA mess and them sticking around & bringing energy to the team when everything was looking grim for us.

What the **** kind of logic is that?

lets break it down for you

1. Olsen came in as a program saver QB (Baby Jesus) <-Brand Name (you think its great because you are being told its great)
2. If Olsen was that program saving/elite QB, we would be hearing all about it now and Ryan Williams wouldn't of been the favorite next eyar
3. Kaaya has performed very well, took his team to state title, got very high praises by all the camp he went to & Killed it at the Military game
4. We have heard more off fields issues with Olsen vs him being a great QB.. he is not magically going to be great next year all of a sudden...if we have a program saving QB from the commits & the current roster it would be Kaaya not Olsen or Williams

let me know if anything I said doesn't sound logical to you

Our Jaguars quarterback had great hair and that didn't turn out so good.

Great hair, big arm and no heart means crappy quarterback.
Bad hair, worst arm in pro football history, biggest heart and balls around equals Bernie Kosar.

Did you know who Manziel was 3 years ago when he was red shirting?

Hopefully all the lack of faith in baby Jesus get back to him and lights a fire under his ****...

Well the last QB that got tons of praise here, at camps, and practices. Was a total mental midget. That it took most of this fan base late into his senior season. To come to grips with the reality. That he was hot trash.

Kevin has to get his head straight in a hurry if he to win the starting job next season. His freshman year has not been exactly promising and other students have noticed his lack of focus, too much partying, etc...
If he doesn't win the job from Williams in the spring, look for Kaaya to push him to the side the year after. He appears to be a more disciplined and focused kid coming in from high school than Olsen has been.

How many other true freshman QB's have had promising 1st years?

Does he walk around campus with a beer hat from Spencers hooked up to beer keg backpack. With a weed plant growing on top of it?

Is Kaaya already on campus, because i want to know how anyone can come to the conclusion. As to how this kid will react. When he gets here, and Pete is attached to his leg, along with the rest of his fan club. Naming him king even before he signs his LOI.

I find it comical. That Olsen, is catching heat. For enjoying his college experience, and not beating out a mental midget his 1st year on campus. Nobody was going to play over Morris.

Everyone's crutch to say Olsen isn't doing what is needed. Is the HC coming out, and saying the kid needs to improve. To learn every aspect of the offense. To play at the same level every day. People take that as Al was saying the kid isn't doing the job. He was just trying to push the kid, because he wants him ready for this season coming up.

Fact of the matter is. Very few on here know whats going on in practice. You hear people talk, about our back up QB's, and they reference the spring game. Or whatever limited action they got on game day. ****, Williams got trashed for performing way above Morris in 2012 UNC game. Now the guy is all of a sudden the next Dorsey. The ones who aren't pumping that jazz out. Are the ones pumping Kaaya as some sort of folklore heroism BS.

Dude won't even be on campus until the summer, and nobody has a clue. On how long it will take for the game to slow down for him.

You are right for the most part. It's far too early to get any real idea of either of the frosh QB's. I think Williams should have played this year when Snickers got hurt until he was fully healed.

Just my gut feeling is from what I've seen our whole team will be better with RW at 1QB.

The little film I have seen of Olsen in practice didn't lead me to believe that he would be anywhere near ready to start Labor Day weekend.

2015 I couldn't tell ya.

What little we saw of Williams this year, I really liked. I thought he threw the ball better than Morris. It was against USF and Savannah State so that's not saying much. Really wanted to see him against some other teams but Golden stuck with Morris. I think he will surprise some next year.

Let's be honest here: does anyone really know a **** thing about Williams, Olsen, or Kaaya? Unless you have been to practice a fair amount of times, you don't. None of these guys have really had any exposure. People are writing off certain players and it's based on absolutely nothing -- just prejudice. Chill out and follow their progress during spring ball. We're going to have a new QB this year; that's exciting in and of itself.

You ignored the fact that he has been disciplined during his freshman year by Golden and even rumored to be transferring. I guess it's common that freshman QB's have that cool story in their first year, sorry I missed that. But don't let facts get in your way, carry on.

I think AG is just one of those coaches who is harder on players he expects more from.. If history tells us anything then I expect Williams to end up the starter but I don't see the tough talk from the coaches as a big deal.

Lol, Olsen is the 1st player to get disciplined during his freshman year.

Loved the rumored transferring part as well.

Fact, you don't have a single ******* clue as to what happened.
