This is not productive. The optics of this drill would not be good for guys that we still want to attract to come here (mainly Samson and Freeling). Let’s celebrate that we made the Gators feel inferior yet again and continue to dominate on the trail. And I also think the better question is Kinsler versus PK which has been debated ad nausem in other threads.

He was a specimen. Needed a lot of work but has all the raw materials to be very good. I personally considered him a project with a super high ceiling. FT has just as much upside though.

We took the L and we need to move on as fans. I’m sure Mario will be in his ear all year still, but we shouldn’t get our hopes of on this guy and this thread should die.

But, I love a good imagination journey just as much as the next guy. Based on what I gather from my uninformed observations & reading. IMO, the board seemed to be.

Tier 3: Antonio Tripp/Monroe Freeling/ Frankie Tinlau
Tier 4: Kirklands


I’m sure there are a few unknown that we have worked a relationship with that, if we have a good season, could potentially trend our way.

He’s an OT, so you can really only compare him to other prospective OT’s.

He’s not a take over Samson Okunlola or Francis Mauigoa.

So it comes down to how you grade him vs Monroe Freeling, Chase Bisontis & Payton Kirkland
