Probably not a more critical position of need. We know we got far to many lesser Jags and Jags. we all know the value of winning the trenches. Last year we were only able to sign Tre Johnson. So far two studs committed, Donaldson and Dykstra. Which guards and tackles are we recruiting heavily. How many we hope to sign and who are the most likely to commit? Lines are open!

Realistic class:
Dykstra
Donaldson
Brahms
Minor

But Minor has been silent since his visit and Auburn offered Brahms yesterday(his sister is going there) so it's hazy as hazy gets right now

Is the silence a good or bad thing?

I see that Brahms is 100% CB to Auburn. You think we can scoop him up?

I like that list, 2017 OG Nick Brahms if he can learn to play Center, he could make himself a potential 5* recruit based on versatility of being a OG\C.

As for 2017 OG Marcus Minor from Maryland, he is an interesting prospect but he projects as a guard on the next level and Miami needs Off Tackles.

I would like to see Miami throw the kitchen sink at 2017 OT Alex Leatherwood who is currently committed to Bama.

Yea, I know that class will have Donaldson and Dykstra as the OT's....but that's a "as of now" kind of deal. Brahms certainly has the IQ to play center

Landing Nick Brahm and Alex Leatherwood would be an epic closeout to the 2017 Online class.

Neither Dykstra nor Donaldson project well at LT. One of them will end up a G. So expect 1-2 true LT's to get added.

find one true LT that favors us....there isn't any right now

It's May and it's been pretty clear so far the SFL recruiting "insiders" have been 2-3 steps behind this staff in regards to who they're targeting outside of Florida, just like Dykstra came out of nowhere with a surprise visit and offer 2-3 week before his commitment. Getting at least one true LT this class is imperative, right now St. Louis is the only who remotely resembles one outside of maybe Tre Johnson who needs a lot of work.

i like the two we have now.

Need to close strong...fla has some good ol..and south florida has a solid to good class...we should do well recruiting ol this go round

The only OL that we are currently in a strong recruiting position with is Kendall Randolph.

And Adrian Ealy as well but I don't know the extent of his interest. I do know that he unofficially visited in March and received an offer the same day,we also made his top 10 as welltimujian

Leatherwood in my opinion, is a big Old South Country Boy who probably finds big cities uncomfortable. Out of his element. He's "probably" more comfortable with the big town east Alabama environment that Pensacola is. A lot people up there never been to Miami and have either a fascination about Miami or a stereotypical fear. I know people like that in my family who have no interest in SoFl and some weird fear of big cities.

@Zbrod and Paranos. I see no mention of the 3 Elite Olinemen in SoFl. So absolutely no chance at either, Telfort, Slaton or Herbert? Priority Number 1 for this staff is getting the local kids excited and desiring to be Canes again. Our ascendance, though inevitable, will be slowed by local misses on top talent. Confident they will turn it around.

It's not that. They're recruiting Herbert and Telfort...heavily but those guys are all UF right now, tbh Leatherwood has been the most receptive OT in Florida to us not named Navaughn Donaldson(probably because of Brahms). Slaton has officially been classified as a Guard now and apparently this staff's favorite interior guys has been Hainsey followed by Brahms for a while. They are recruiting him, don't think they're not but if you think two other guys are better than someone then it doesn't matter if they're from SFL. Gator Hatar
