You’re almost as likely to hit in a center with a ******* walk than a 3-4* guy. Such a hard position to recruit. Over our history, many of our good centers were unheralded. Smart and strong is all I care about at that position.

Every OL we recruit is a project because they're not ready to play here when they show up.

Miami is doing things these last 2 years that we haven't seen in awhile BUT I guess for some that isn't good enough!! Miami is suppose to be playing in the national title game.. PPL on here will say "why Kirby Smart could do it" BUT CMR couldn't BECAUSE Kirby Smart inherited a CMR built program and CMR inherited a Al Golden built program!! CMR was hired at Miami Dec. 2-3, 2015 and signed his 1st class (a top 20 class) then his 2nd class (a top 12 class) and "this year" his 3rd class (he could possibly sign a top 5 class); BUT SOME OF THESE FAKE CLOWN UM FANS are on here complaining about the way our staff is recruiting.. HEY IF these recruits (especially the local studs) don't see what's being built in Coral Gables under CMR, NOTHING ELSE can be said..

I understand recruiting is a very treaty process and SoFla recruit's have all the elite recruiter's out looking and fighting for the studs BUT it's simple, look at schools like Georgia, Bama, LSU, Texas, USC and etc THESE SCHOOLS HAVE TO RECRUIT THEIR STATE NO DOUBT, BUT THESE SCHOOLS don't have to fight like our Canes have to keep recruit's home AND HONESTLY WE CAN'T KEEP BLAMING OUR STAFF, I understood when The Bum was here, because there was nothing to sell the recruit's!! BUT NOW IT'S DIFFERENT HERE AT Miami, AND IT'S TIME for the recruit's to want to stay home and represent for the hometeam..

TRUST ME (schools like UGA, LSU, Bama, Texas and USC) DON'T HAVE TO RECRUIT THEIR STATE AS HARD AS MIAMI DOES!! I'm sorry no OTHER school has to recruit their home town recruit's like my Canes.. AND IT COMES A TIME, WHEN WE SHOULD START QUESTIONING THE RECRUIT'S COMING FROM SOFLA, why aren't these SoFla kid's loyal to the home team??

Dysktra.

Dysktra was the 5th OL taken last year and a pretty good athlete. He is a lot better prospect than Tre Johnson who was a last minute filler.
