LSU Transfer OT George Brown Enrolled At Miami - Football Recruiting - Scout

After surprisingly leaving LSU last weekend, redshirt freshman offensive tackle George Brown has enrolled at Miami, according to the player's father, George Brown Sr. Brown will sit out the 2016 football season, but will have three years of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2017 season. Scout will have more on Brown's decision later today.

Rivals rated him a 4*, #16 OT and #199 overall.

Great addition to the team.Welcome to" The U".Pieces keep falling into place.

He's from the same year that McDermott and Darling came out.

On Scout, McDermott was the #3 OT (5-star), Darling was the #8 OT (4-star) while Brown was ranked the #40 OT (3-star)...

But he had offers from everyone (only officially visited LSU and Miss St.)...

At any rate, we need help on the OL, so it's good to have him here...

Completely wrong. Brown is Class of 15. KC and Darling were Class of 14.

How does a poster ***** that up?

Because he doesn't know ****. And because apparently he forgot how to use the Internet.

I don't think we should be pronouncing him as the savior to our tackle position next year, or jumping out of our seats because of what rivals said a couple years ago. He is a low 3 stars on every other site including ESPN and 247. But again who cares about the stars, I have never seen him play so let's just wait and see.

He's basically an addition to our 2017 OL class, very good pickup & adds much needed depth for the future.

I'm looking forward to seeing Coach Searels get to work on him.

Good pickup. He has plenty of time to perfect his craft and hopefully battle for LT next spring

Real good pickup. Like a 2017 recruit, just older and more experienced. Was running second team at LSU with a coach he supposedly disliked. Sounds good to me.
