2024 OL Board (2024 Edition)

How can every single person feel “blessed” to receive an offer? Are they all such devout Christians that all good news is a blessing from God? Are these just generic thank yous which all contain the word “blessed”. All a coincidence? Even the atheists and agnostics feel “blessed” when they receive a scholarship offer?

HASHTAG BLESSED*

Can someone summarize this article please?

...Marrieta (Ga.) Walton five-star Daniel Calhoun is one of the top names on the board. The 6-foot-6, 350-pounder is considered the No. 3 tackle prospect in the country at this stage of the process. Georgia and Alabama are two who will make it tough on the Hurricanes.

Miami (would like to go get) West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial four-star Guerby Lambert, who is tipping the scales at 300-pounds these days at 6-foot-6. LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Ohio State are those doing a good job early, but Miami in there as well.

Another prospect in the Bay State the Hurricanes are high on is Brookline (Mass.) Dexter School four-star Liam Andrews, the No. 2 player in the state. Andrews, 6-foot-5, 260-pounds, visited Miami in the fall and has been in communication with the program. Andrews is a Top247 prospect with a basketball and lacrosse background who also plays along the defensive line. That’s a promising athletic profile.

Sticking to the Northeast theme, Miami is also high on Paramus (NJ) Catholic tackle Juan Minaya, who intends on being down in Coral Gables on March 4 for Junior Day. Currently unranked by all major recruiting services, Minaya stands at 6-foot-6, 315-pounds.

Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic Nyier Daniels is another name in that region worth keeping an eye on.

In the South, Hiram (Ga.) four-star Jameson Riggs, Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star JacQawn McRoy, Upper Marlboro (MD.) Charles Herbert Flowers’ Mike Williams are a few more names of interest along the line.

A few guards to keep in mind are Santa Ana (Cali.) Mater Dei’s Brandon Baker, North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland’s Daniel Cruz, Clearwater (Fla.) Calvary Christian’s Joseph Ionata, Aiea (Haw.) Top247 lineman Preston Taumua, Tampa (Fla.) Catholic’s Eddy Pierre-Louis, and Bradenton IMG Academy four-star Jimothy Lewis. Baker, who is currently considered one the No. 1 tackle prospect in the country, could potentially kick inside at the next level, but his future position is still yet to be determined.

Cruz, 6-foot-3.5, 295-pounds, will be a four-year varsity starter this coming fall in the Lone Star State and is a prospect being pursued by Alabama, Michigan, USC, Penn State, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, Ohio State, and multiple others.

...

Ionata is one of the top interior linemen in the Sunshine State and the Hurricanes have been actively recruiting the Central Florida prospect. Lewis has been down to Miami already and played right tackle on a line with Mauigoa last fall. Originally from Mississippi, Lewis tipped the scales at 300-pounds as a sophomore.

At center, Clearwater (Fla.) Academy International Top247 lineman Jason Zandamela should be considered the top center target on the board. The native of Mozambique grew up playing rugby and has only been playing organized football for a few seasons.

Kevin Heywood was mentioned by Dave on Sebastian Lane a few months ago as a recruitment to monitor but I forgot to look up his info. He's coming to the BBQ. Thanks @st26rip for the reminder.
