We are going to get ours. Offensively..you can troll all you want but we get who we want. PERIOD. Anybody who thinks we dont have a legit shot at Ladson, Payton, Cain, etc is just acting like a bytch basically.

Defensively, all we can do is tell guys like Stephenson that if you come here you will be in our 2 deep IMMEDIATELY with a chance to start. Thats all Saban told guys like Jobe and Surtain. All Ive been hearing about is how Bama lost 5 guys in their secondary. You dont think he used that as a recruiting tool? Surtain and Jobe werent going to start here Day 1... They will be starters by end of season at Bama or at least one of them will.

Howard might get left off because the LB class is just too deep with studs. We cant take everyone. Same with Fuller. Ladson and Payton are our top 2 targets. Not sure we need 3 WRs in this class. I could be wrong.

Richt is a good enough recruiter to give us a Top 10 class every year here.

What is more important is who exactly we are getting. We need a massive influx of ELITE (5* and high end 4* aka Top 150 players in the nation) talent on the front seven and offensive line.

South Florida WRs and CBs in the mid-tier 4* and lower level grow on trees and we will get our pick of those types every year...couldn't give less of a fvck about them in the big picture even though they are all uniquely good players individually. However, are we getting ELITE players on the interior defensive line? Not just one...but 2, 3, 4 of them? Are we getting high end 4* and 5* players on the OL? We also have an issue now where we are lacking high end talent at linebacker waiting in the wings. Some nice role player types backing up the starters, but studs? Not really. We need an influx there, too, considering how important LB is in the Diaz defense as a means of getting after the QB.

I want to see Richt acting EARLY and OFTEN here. I want us getting the Plan B kids in the mix and in the fold EARLY.

Early Signing Day changes the game dramatically. No longer are Plan B and Plan C kids even available in February. They are cool taking their offers to play at Illinois, Minnesota , Louisville, Utah, North Carolina, etc. over waiting for an offer from one of the bigger schools. This is something ALL schools outside of your Bama/Georgia/Ohio State/Clemson have to worry about going forward. This year...the high end of the 3* (aka your Plan B and C types for major programs) and your low end 4* types seemingly went to mid-tier programs during the early signing period leaving very little leftover for January visits and the final push. Only about 30% of the ranked recruits were left for the final stretch run. Accounting for these types much much earlier is going to be vital to having a successful class. You won't have your SKAI MOORE types of the world waiting around late in the game anymore and that is very impactful for the non-aristocracy of CFB...bad for the Miamis, USCs, Penn States of the world...good for the middle class of the Power 5.

Guess what top 8 classes isn't a top 4 class. Unless the playoffs expand to 8 teams those kids will have to overachieve to beat Clemson who has way more talent than us at the moment. Top 3 classes year after year is going to be necessary to make the playoffs. I like right but he's too much of a nice guy and doesn't hire enough sharks.

Daxon -- 3* From all reports seems to be the best DT in Dade this year
Renato Brown -- 3* Has offers from just about every major college program this year. Saban offered IIRC
Marcus Crowley -- 3* Just offered by a few big programs. He's going to be a very nicely rated kid when it is said and done. He'll blow up IMO
Cam Williams -- 3* Just dominated a big time camp. Will get bump very soon
Brandon Cunningham -- 3* Decent looking prospect. I'm not sure that Florida outside of IMG is strong up front on OL this year.
Kingsley Eduwhatever -- Decent looking kid who has some good measureables
Jessiah Pierre -- 3* probably rated about where he belongs
Diamonte Howard -- 3* haven't read anything that says he'll be in the class to be honest
Larry Howard -- 3* Staff really seems to like him, but he is a true H-Back/Fullback type player so he won't be rated as high

Out of the 9 3* players i'd bet that the first 4 players i listed get bumps to 4* status before long. Daxon and Brown are very close as it is.
