Agree on part 1. We need to play the game for December. Stay on the elite kids who are obvious takes if they want in, but fill your needs by December. Cast a bigger net if you need to.I have no idea, but I am confident to say that whatever we get in the earlier signing period is about all we will get and there is little need to pay much attention after that unless we make the playoffs. The only thing saving yesterday was the beast Nesta at DT. Most important player available and we got him. I would announce that only lineman from AH will get offers in the future and that ANY skill position player enrolled there at the beginning of the 2018 school year will NEVER get a offer from THE U. See if we can hurt AH's recruiting. Might be a lot of 8th graders with great talent that still think they want to go to Miami -- SEC does not start buying children from parents that young.
Disagree on part 2. That's crazy. Take your Ls like a big boy program. We had coaches here in the past who would try and punish programs and we're still undoing the damage. All you need is some bagdropping school to hand you some losses and you'll go away for ever? That's the wrong message.
