I think so too. Just normally there is a signing day thread where they put all the updates. Funny thing is this Byrd thread has been going on all night. How about we be happy that in the last couple days we landed Haskins, Finley, Martin, and Johnson. Not to mention AR is suppsed to stick and we may get a couple more.

Haskins, Martin and Johnson are all projects. They might be great but they are not the types of kids that get guys excited. You know better than that. Kobe, Shyhiem, AR15, Southall...those are the types of guys we need to close with to move the needle.

Well to be honest they are all prospects. For every great talent that works out you have a Willie Williams, Lance Leggett, or a Marcus Forston. No one is a sure thing. **** Kevin Olsen was the future!!

I don't disagree with you. But you're saying everyone should calm down about Byrd because look at all these other guys we got. Which would be fine if they were 'name' recruits...but in terms of excitement, we all know one or two 4/5 star guys turning us down is always going to outweigh 4 or 5 3 star guys telling us yes.

Here's the reality. The average stars of the starting lineups for the 4 playoff teams was 3.68, which you might interpret as 'stars don't matter'. But that's flawed, because the 2 teams that played for the title had Ridley, Henry, Watson, Lawson, Scott, Howard, Wilkins, Alexander, Ragland, A'Shawn, Reed, Williams, etc...the biggest difference makers. Signing Day is when you close on the difference makers, and those are almost always the highest ranked kids.
