If Brown comes back, Porter and OJ outside with Brown in the slot is a pretty nice top 3 CBs. Problem is the rest of the group sucks, woefully thin and safeties still suck.

But I think we’d improve greatly (130th to drop 100; I jest) on defense if we can hit stride to end the season with that lineup healthy.

I said that last year with Bain, we need more guys like him. Same with OJ, we gotta hit more on the DBs, having just 1 isn't enough

Safeties would get better if we would just bench number 7. He must be a great kid cause I don't get it

I like Patterson a lot but he got absolutely bulldozed last week a couple times

He read the play too well honestly and just got hung up trying to get to the ball

I’ll take that but agree it was a weak call

That’s where common sense should come in to play with referees. If the cb jumps it and makes a play early on the ball I’m ok with no call. Bang bang calls annoy me when flags are thrown. You should be rewarded seeing the play unfold before the qb or wr.

I kept thinking we could use this guy as a punt returner. He has a P-Buch flow to how he runs.
He even threw in the old school pushups after dropping the INT. Loved it.

he is not slow. he plays slow because he lacks instincts and confidence. k

I thought he was supposed to be fast coming out of hs? I was never that high on him but some liked him because his size and was supposedly fast
