You may be right but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some anti-SEC school sentiment going on now after all the protests that occurred this summer (confederate statues, etc). Don’t underestimate that impact as well.

It could be that sitting on a bench behind Daniels and Beck hoping for an injury, early exit (draft), or transfer out while hoping Smart doesn't take a transfer in front of you like he's doing to Beck has caused him to reconsider.
