After Morris predictably posts monster numbers and wins the ACC this year, we will enter 2014 with the following QB's on the roster (please correct me if I have anything wrong here)

Gray Crow RSo
Preston Dewey RSo
Ryan Williams RSr
Kevin Olsen RFr

The consensus is that it will be Olsen battling Dewey for the spot. However, are there any Tim Tebow, Vince Young, Cam Newton type of game-changing QB's coming out of Florida in next season's recruiting cycle? I wouldn't even put it past Golden to go national and grab a 5-star stud from out of state.

If we grab one of these top QBs, would the staff plug in a true freshman? You know the rest of the roster will be absolutely stacked. OR, is Olsen pretty much the guy they are looking at to groom as the next QB here?

I'll disconnect my internet and listen.

Valid is gonna really disapprove of this thread

There is no doubt the coaches have put the future of the program in the hands of the wholly one

I wouldn't automatically dismiss Williams from the competition. The chances are he will have the best command and understanding of the offense and while he may not be the most talented of the group, if he allows the offense to open up the entire playbook and can regularly audible for the best looks then that has to be taken into account.

I really hope that Olsen comes in hungry and determined to take full advantage of the RS year to learn the playbook inside and out, get bigger, and work on technique. But, when someone is RSing, once the season starts they are delegated to scout team, which means Olsen will barely ever get the opportunity for practice reps of the playbook

Can't wait to see Dewey and Crow in the Spring. Would love to see how much they've improved from last spring. If they still are subpar then Olsen is obviously a shoe-in for 2014

the game will have to be played between the hashes if Williams is the QB. the field shrinks. dude will not be the starter. if he is, we are in big trouble

Is Thompson absolutely going to be baseball only? I like his upside. Not saying he's better than The Chosen One or Dewey but he was not included on the list.

He could be the steady, don't turn it over, senior QB on a loaded team. But I don't think his skill set really allows the offense to be opened up, exactly. We always have deadly speed outside, I'm not sure he has the arm to go downfield like Morris.

I just think it will be interesting to see what happens if the staff goes out of state and grabs a top ranked, all-everything QB this season. Again, I'm talking Tebow, Young, Newton, type of recruit.

David Thompson is a beast. He could be our best QB if he wants to play football.

Edouard is that RG3 impersonator from down here, right? I like that kid.

WhatTheHell, Im finna start calling you WhatThe**** from now on. Olsen, was born for this ****. Its his destiny to resurrect QB U. The Great Redeemer. Kelly, Kosar, Testaverde, Walsh, Erickson, Toretta, Dorsey, Olsen. He is next in line....there is simply no doubt bruh.

Am I the only one who finds QB talk really to be the least exciting of any position. I think it is the most important position AND the one that is least exciting, at least when it comes to crootin. Kind of weird.

Or as some poster on some board put it - 122014471311 - plus Olsen.
