Oh no, Tyrique Stevenson!

I'm confused. So he intended to tip that ball into to the receiver?
Based on the way it played out, who knows? The clown was trolling fans for several seconds then decided to get into the play and become the Commanders MVP

I always liked TS. He worked hard for us here and played through injury. Little surprised at all the bad mouthing. It is a really bad look for him. Surely he did not realize the ball had been snapped? I hope so. He will learn from it.
They **** on players for fun on here.. Dude was good here and one of few good players in league.. They giddy af in this thread, smfh..

Bad look but he had what, 10 seconds to get back in position. Wouldn’t have mattered

I never left her but 🖕you and tyrique.
Tyrique did to your girlfriend well and nasty back in high school and you’re still bent about it? Jeesh, are you a woman? Did he steal your life partner? Go get a hug from Grandma, you’ll feel better.

Go Canes!

Since we're yelling at each other...WHY DID MY PAT'S HAVE TO BEAT THE JETS, GET THE BEST POSSIBLE DRAFT PICK POSSIBLE!!!

Lol talking crap to the crowd while the ball has been snapped is considered a mistake?? He KNEW the play was going on. He CHOSE to continue....
Did any of his pre-snap (slightly in-snap lol) antics affect the outcome? It did not (IMO). He mistimed his jump/swat & the bears did a **** job of having a body behind the jump ball (standard practice).

He guarded his part of the field, moved over to the cluster as he should, and just didn't execute swatting it down.

Uhhh, despite the “stinker”, Caleb led the go ahead TD w/ mere seconds on the clock. So yeah Tyrique is going to take heat for not only taunting the crowd & not being prepared for the next play, but coming in late, tipping the ball to a wide open WR.

That’s on him.
Tyrique deserves the blame for not being ready to play. Maybe he makes a better play on the ball if his head was in the game. Also Byard deserves blame for letting someone get behind him. DC deserves blame for only rushing 3 and having a spy on Daniels 60 ******* yards away lol These teams complicate **** too much. Commanders needed time to get their guys down field and the DC gave him all the time he needed.

Couldn't have drawn it up any better tbh.

The guy who caught WAS his man. Had he been paying attention, and not having his back to the play, he would've boxed his guy out as the play calls for. Instead, he broke on the ball late and came in from the side.

Was it all his fault?

**** no. The HC deserves more blame than him. But TS has been acting like a clown since last year and hasn't learned. He was given a 15 yarder earlier in the game trying to poke a linemans eye out.
Then ends up with the worst grade of the entire secondary.

The ****** thing is he has a lot of talent and is a real solid 2 to JJ’s 1. But man, he needs to figure it out. Bears fans have enjoyed having him and given him lots of leeway because that’s his play style and for the most part it’s gotten good results, but I’d say the goodwill is all but gone after that. Intensity and trash talk is cool. Once it begins hurting your own team it’s time to look in the mirror.

To his credit he did apologize to the team and own up to it, but we’ll see if that shows moving forward.

I think it did impact the outcome. When he finally realized the play was going on, he sprinted in a panic instead of already being in position and bodying his guy to jump straight up, vs the drifting he did coming from the side. Maybe if he was in better position and not in such a panic, the outcome would have been different.

I dont care to Defend Tyrique whatever. But the whole Bears defense including coaches screwed that play up. It's almost as if they never practiced against a Hail Mary. My goodness that had a QB spy on the play. Yeah, spy the QB because he might run for 15 yards.
