I think they may have actually gotten a site had they not blown the NCst. game. Now there's two chances...

I think had it played out differently there was a slight chance. If we had beaten NCSU, UNC and ended up playing and beating FSU in the finals, we just might have snuck in to host. That is at least if the sites weren't already picked prior to the champ game.
