Offense in College Baseball

I think college baseball should just go the wood bat route. Yeah it’s more expensive but with the NIL money making college more a de facto farm system, maybe the MLB would be interested subsidizing some of the cost.

That idea sounds great, but it’ll never happen. The MLB had to be shamed into raising minor league pay to more than $1500 a month. If they won’t pay their own farm guys real money, what makes you think they’ll spend a dime on college baseball?
