Our linebacker play can use some overall improvement. Maybe our new DC can fix it but they are out of position far too much.

You basically have to lie to him about not worrying about 3 returning LBers who will be 4 year starters.
Elite recruiters know how to sell (read:lie) them on having a shot at getting on the field.
This is where folks like Urban Meyers excelled.

But what folks don't realize is that stuff happens during a season....injuries, suspensions,etc so backup players
get PT anyways. But when you're young, you may not have that perspective.

He will be able to compete for a starting spot next year when 53, 55, 56 leave. He will get time this year just have to be patient. Then again no one wants to be patient in today’s game.
