our DE room is nastyThere are very, very few rooms in America that Jason Taylor would trade ours for, straight up.
we gotta stop going into the portal now
and just let our coaches cook
the materials cant be much better

You forgot the brigade of users who want to change three positions at the O-Line.This is CIS gold. Half the porsters want to start freshmen at every position and the other half want to bring in transfers at every position.
I’d be surprised if we grabbed another defensive starter in the portal in spring unless someone gets hurt.
I’m also of the opinion that we’ll be fine at linebacker too. Kiko looked like he was playing in cement shoes last year and then goes to the combine and kills the speed/agility drills. So is he just really slow on game days or was he lost on defense last year like pretty much everyone?
How big was Sean “Eraser” Spence when he arrived at Miami?First Team All ACC LBs: Louis 225, Carter 230, Buchanan 235
Second Team All ACC LBs: Kiko 230 (played heavier than that IMO), Wilson 225, Combs 230
If Bobby was 210 last season I'd be surprised. 215 I'd be shocked. So "can" he improve his twitch and speed while adding 15-20 pounds with exceptional S&C, all the while taking a massive step up from a bit player to a starter? Sure. But there's no way in **** I'd bet the season on it.
Excellent research and I get everyone can’t be a Sean Spence however the SEC did have a Danny Stutsman last year. We lose a little bit of football when we start basing everything off of analytics. If he comes out of spring as the guy, then he should be the guy like it’s always been. Do you think we are going to get an all American player in the after spring portal? Sounds Disney to me. If the Kid is the Kidd, then we’re a better program moving forward.First Team All ACC LBs: Louis 225, Carter 230, Buchanan 235

I don't know that he's ready... lolI'm not saying it's impossible. Obviously a guy like Spence was able to make it work, though I would argue that was a different era. According to ChatGPT, over the past 2 decade offensive linemen have added 15–20 pounds on average.
I really liked Pruitt as a commit. But he was definitely getting blown back at times last season in the very limited action we saw him. I just don't think he's ready. And even if he is, I don't think he'll hold up over 13-16 games. That's JMHO. @Coach Macho is a fan, and he's been right about 90% or more of the time. If he says Pruitt is ready, then I'll defer to him .... But I still want a portal LB lol.
I could not disagree with you more. Bain will play in the NFL, Blount we’ll play in the NFL, Mesidor will play in the NFL, the freshman from California, will play in the NFL. You’re selling our defensive end room way too short. That was bad scheme and coaching that happened to that room last year.We really don't have any freaks at DE.
We have unproven freshmen/sophomores and tweeners(too small for DT, too big for DE) who've already peaked.
We seriously need monsters at DE. Like what Ohio State had this year. Guys who will play in the NFL.

You got me.You do know, that 7 sack season was year 1 at Miami, right?
Lowe looks like a freak from what I've seen. That doesn't mean he'll be a AA. But he looks to have the measurables that you guys crave (pause). We really don't have any freaks at DE.

Uh who are Ohio States proven Edges and DTs? Lol they lose their two starting edges and starting DT. Dont Their returning and likely starting edges have 3 and 4.5 sacks for their career and are both seniors. You got me.
Let me ask you a question, is there anyone not named Bain (I don’t exclude him confidently) who starts at Oregon, OSU, UGA, etc.? No. That should tell everyone our DL is not good enough to compete at a high level.
Mario says he’s about the trenches but the DL hasn’t lived up to the standards of the OL. Until this is fixed, along with our LB’s, we aren’t winning anything significant.
Time will tell.I could not disagree with you more. Bain will play in the NFL, Blount we’ll play in the NFL, Mesidor will play in the NFL, the freshman from California, will play in the NFL. Keep defending our monster defense from last season.WTF are you talking about, you liar?
He threw ONE pass for 16 yards, and you are ******* building a statue for him. So you are suggesting a "demonstration manual" based on one play?
As for his "running well":
---Drive 1: DJ Lagway run for a loss of 4 yards to the FLA 25
---Drive 2: DJ Lagway run for 1 yd to the MIA 30
---Drive 2: DJ Lagway run for 16 yds to the MIA 5 for a 1ST down
---Drive 3: DJ Lagway run for 7 yds to the FLA 48 for a 1ST down
The only "gash" around here is the one between your legs.
As far as your other lie about "it was repeated like 11 more times", you are still full of ****.
1. Held FAMU to 9 points.
2. Shut out Ball State.
3. Held USF to 15 points.
4. Held F$U to 14 points.
5. Held Wake Forest to 14 points.
None of that means that the 2024 defense should be celebrated, but it is fairly simple to point out that you are a liar.
As for "watching the games", unlike you, I was actually in the stadium for 10 of them. So try telling your lies to someone else.
Keep defending our monster defense from last season.
People who actually watch the games saw the first glimpse of what was to come when Lagway started playing.
Not saying he's some all-pro world beater, but he exposed the defense in the like 11 snaps he got.
I'm not reading all that. You're so full of **** that I can smell you through the internet.
I'm not "defending our monster defense". I'm ACCURATELY pointing out that they had 6 good statistical games and 7 poor games. Not "1" and "12" like you claimed.
As for your bull**** "people who actually watch the games" nonsense, you are flat-out lying. Lagway had one 15+ yard pass and one 15+ yard run. He also had an interception and one 3-and-out during his three possessions. So, no, there was no "glimpse" or "preview" of what was to come.
Just stop lying in a useless attempt to rehabilitate your prior bull**** overstatements.
Well that's a scorchin hot take.As of now, I doubt Mesidor and Bain even get invites to the combine on simple measurables.
