Episode 6 is out. @Geo305 says that there's a South Florida DL that may hit the portal and Miami will be involved if he does. He gave a hint that he was mentioned previously. Is this Dorlus?

Highlights:
  • Baxter is at the top of the board and we're in a good spot
  • Staff believes Baxter is the best FL RB since Dalvin Cook
  • @Geo305 says Baxter is the best RB in the country
  • Staff is comfortable w/only one RB IF they get an elite RB
  • Someone from the RB may hit the portal and that could change recruiting numbers
  • Miami in a good spot w/Jalen Brown, may make a decision in April

  • Miami really hasn't been pursuing Fletcher for a while

  • Multiple Oregon players likely to hit the portal and Miami has interest (Flowe NOT in this list)

I agree with @Geo305, Baxter is the prize at RB this year. I am also of the opinion that he is definitely the best Florida RB since Cook. Young man is a special talent, with a good head on his shoulders. If we get his signature, we should throw a party.

Also stoked about the Jalen Brown and Joseph news. With Robbie and Bobby Jr. already on board, we would be seeing legit speed merchants coming back to the U. Speed kills!

Also interested to find out who the potential transfer portal South Florida LB and DL are. If it’s Dorlus and Jones, then I would think that we’d be in a very favorable position to land them.

The block is definitely HOT. Lots of great news. Looking forward to our Spring Game, and to getting Mr. Mims on our squad.

Agree, at that point my only real concern would be not having enough beef in the middle of the DL. We need a big body there who can control the middle and demand double teams.

Outside of that it gets to nitpicking things like more speed at WR, depth at some positions, maybe an elite playmaker in the front 7 etc etc but no glaring holes.

Id really love to see Anez Cooper on DL 6'6 350 can move we need that size our o line is getting fixed would be nice to have someone that huge on Dline. Ik people are gonna say he wants to play online an that's where coaches are gonna have em but... Just sayin

I agree and I actually think they want him at DT but let him choose his position in order to get the commitment. Rather have him at OL than not at all.
 
So Flo said this afternoon on today's Flomotion that Miami is working the back channel for a Mike LB and its not Mikel. Says it a large LB, so I don't think its Hood. So maybe my guess that its either Mikel or Hood is wrong. There may be a 3rd option about to hit the portal.

He is referring to JENNINGS that left K STATE. Gonna be interesting to see if they really pursue and if he will be receptive after brother leaving.

Branden Jennings is already officially in the portal (again). Mario passed the first go around. Flo implied this LB still isn't in the portal so I can't see how its Jennings.

Just a few recruiting notes and news from today with the latest, along with some before and after of the pod I released the other day that was recorded on Monday. The expectation from a source on Georgia transfer offensive tackle Amarius Mims, is that he will be in Miami Saturday morning...
