Now that the dust is settling... Next’s Year...?

I can't speculate on next season until we've raped and pillaged the transfer portal and February signing days of leet'croots. Our September looks a little gnarly though all of them are at home. At least Mario doesn't have to face mighty GaTech next year for his annual ***-whomping. I don't know, best guess assuming we get a slightly above-mid QB with this schedule, 8-4? ND, VTech, USF, and Stanford (our gimme annual loss-we-shouldnt-have-but-we-do-have-because-its-a-Canes-thing-and-you-would-understand)

You haven't shown me ****.

Try again.
Your argument that we need small fast guys like the ones in the special forces.

Notre Dame played both Army and Navy and whooped those small fast guys

Also, don’t be offended it’s a dumb joke to your dumb argument. It ain’t that serious

If you're not expecting a dropoff from the most prolific offense in school history, and for that dropoff to affect our W/L record you're dumb.

Way too early but I expect our defense to perform better than this year and our offense to regress. I'll throw 8-4 at the wall right now but ask again in August and I'm sure I'll have a different answer.

That is a rough schedule. Wouldn't shock me if we played 8 ranked teams next year. Woof.

which game do you not see us as the favorite to win before the season starts, besides ND?
Do I need to remind you we were double-digit favorites against GT and Syracuse and lost them both with everything on the line. We blew a 21-point lead against Syracuse! No idea what Vegas will set lines out 9 months from now, but it doesn't matter if we're favorites or not. As long as the Neanderthal is trolling the sidelines any and every game is "losable"

Sure but saying it's some world beater schedule isn't accurate
For me 8-4 is the floor worst case without sewing addirions feom portal but see 9-10 wins Hopefully 11 wins

Hopefully Mario goes more Neanderthal often next year with 21-0 leads

Absolute awful game plan to not run the ball and kill clock

You're more optimistic than me...I see 7-5 and 8-4 best case with that schedule. For old Miami teams, that schedule would be nothing, but for the last 20 years we've been *** and I just don't see 9 wins or more. Hope you're right...

I never said small, fast, one stars or less. As in Army. Navy. Coast Guard. Boy Scouts.

I'm saying a leaner, smaller, faster, quicker quality wolf will move faster, quicker, and run around massive, slower, less quick linemen. I saw it happen to our offense pass blocking - guy ran right around ours - and he could only watch him go by.

There's small. And smaller by comparison. Leaner. Twitchy.

I've been in a fair number of fights over the years - and I much rather fight a big guy than someone even my own size.

The big guys - due to their size - rarely get into a fight due to their size. Then they rely on their weight and size. They're much easier to cripple. Having never been in more than one real knock-down drag out fights - they're often very limited.

I used the Best of the Best - as an example. I mean, the SF win/loss ratio of 100:1 to 150:1 is quite a record. Yet they don't have real big boys because they're physically limited.

Not quick enough. And I can assure you that combat is a bit more difficult than a football game, as there are no refs. There's no second place, no time outs, no halftime, no fouls, no boundaries, and no timed event.

That's one reason Berrios and our new, all-time receiver were so successful - fast, quick, determined, skilled - and wiry.

One SEC coach won six national championships with the smallest defensive lines year after year. So don't try to tell me it can't be done.

Oh, now I know you're trolling

Nope. Not one bit.

It was widely discussed during those years. They were bulldog tough - but smaller than most others.

The problem here seems to be you seem to know things that just aren't true.

Your problem.

Not mine.

So an average of 6’2” 310lbs DT and 6’4” 285lbs DE are small?

If you gave Mario Cristobal an F-1 car he might be able to win the neighborhood riding lawnmower race! This guy just turned millions of dollars and a Heisman Trophy candidate into a POP TART BOWL invitation! Maybe Lane Kiffin underachieved more but if you had given him Cam Ward I have to believe he would have made the playoff.
