30 years ago, it was impossible

if rankings were actually fluid I see no problems with FSU being ranked number 1. Bama's number 1 because they finished last year number 1, started there this year, and haven't lost. Yes they are rolling teams, but their big win is A&M which they won by a TD. A&M makes our D last year look like the 85 bears and now has 2 losses. FSU is going in dry on the number 3 team in the country right now. Plus what would be better than knocking off top ranked FSU

same thing people said before uf game

I remember most people felt like we were going to win the UF game. We matched up very well. It was supposed to be our elite offense vs their elite defense and our scrub defense vs their scrub offense. Instead we reversed our roles and they stayed the same and in the end our defense did more than theirs.

The difference is UF was not a complete team and it was obvious. FSU on the other hand looks like a complete team.

With all that said, I don't see us getting worked nearly as bad as Clemson is getting worked. I hope we have our stuff together by then. If we do, we can be just as dangerous as FSU. The difference is they are doing it every week.

If we want to prove we are back we will need to beat a big time team on a big time stage and that game is 2 weeks from now. We need to take care of business next but FSU is going to be our biggest game since we lost the National Championship.

I hope you're right about out ranking, but Clemson should fall out of the top 10 imo. I don't care where FSU was ranked or how good they looked, you can't lose by 37 at home and only drop three spots.
