It's very uncommon for players to transfer mid-season unless it's academic or behavioral related. From everything I've heard about the kid he's a good student in school. Really odd case. How can he play this season though?

my understanding is if you transfer during the season you're not allowed to play the same sport at the school you just transferred to, interesting if he does play.
