USF just hired one of the most successful coaches in college baseball with Mitch Hannahs. If he’s able to build at USF what he built at ISU with their $ and facilities this could affect recruiting in Florida. Can’t turn your back on that resume. In 11 seasons 5 ncaa tournaments and 1 super in BFE.

I'm a Missouri State guy and know this program very well. Indiana State is consistently last in resources, spending, salaries, NIL in the entire conference and he has built it into a legit power.
He built a pitching lab there almost as soon as he was hired and he has turned pitchers into DUDES every year there.
Jared Spencer, nobody recruit, now a real draft prospect as a lefty.
Luke Hayden, pretty meh at Indiana, transfers to ISU then blows up.
Zach Davidson, developed into an All-American as a lefty reliever.
Jacob Pruitt, nobody recruit, redshirts, throws 95+ now and beat Stephen Quigley and UConn (at USF Stadium).
Somehow he has a connection to Puerto Rico and that will probably play well in his new location as well.
He will do well at USF if they let him build his lab and recruit to his type of dev prospects. Might take a year or two to get there.

Lovelady was a HC for 3 years at Wright State prior to UCF. Won like 130 games, multiple regional appearances, and the regular season and/or tournament conference championship all 3 years.
