These guys are only returning 2 starters in their front 7 and they have switched to the 3-4. There is not one kid on that roster who was recruited to play in the 3-4. Even king Saban's defense struggled his first season giving up 2,555 rushing yards that season. (Duke would have had his way against the 07 Tide)

The 3-4 only works if you have the personal or one **** of a coach and Louisville does not of either.

Stop acting like we are playing the Seawhawks lol. We were beat by a team that had a hismen trophy and 1st rd draft pick at QB. Along with one of the best defensive coaches in college football. That team had 3 first rounders on it. There will not be one kid who lines up for them tonight drafted in the first round.

Petrino confounded Shannon with s quick passing game that completely negated our pass rush. And that was when we had some deadly pass rushers.

He will deploy a quick passing game and try to take advantage of the underneath stuff, which we haven't been able to defend for years. Gotta get our arms up and knock some passes down. Most importantly, need to thwart their running game, as Petrino is deadly with it.

I keep hearing our fans saying this but it's not like Louisville switched rosters with FIU over the offseason. It's true that losing Bridgewater is a big deal but we've made some bad QB's look like All Americans in recent years. And yes, they have a new HC but Petrino has a pretty good track record of not sucking.

On the plus side of the "different rosters" argument, we're down a snickers and up a Duke + Kaaya, so we've got that going for us. But it won't matter if our o-line gets abused like they did in the bowl game.

They're also down a defensive mastermind in Strong and up a total lump of **** installing an entirely new system in Grantham.

I agree with OP. Miami's defensive line has been woefully ignored by CIS posters. I challenge anyone to find a post that references Chickillo or the DT depth chart.
