Norvell Making Moves

Silverfield is a real deal OLine coach and probably the guy Norvell wanted, but he got the Memphis gig. I would imagine this dude from TCU was the backup plan.

Guysm, all we need to do is execute. We don't a spread offense, whatever that is, or a new coach.

Edit: /sarc - just in case someone thinks that's serious.

Whom is Sarc?

I mean for ***** sake look at our signing day photo shoot. Hey kids remember 2 live crew? No? How bout starter jackets? No? The 80's ? Werent born yet...right. well anyway we were awesome back then!!!? Best team in football! Come play here. Please

What makes him a big time hire? We heard that same sh*t about the guy Briles brought with him from Houston.

... and Norvell is doing the same thing everyone is super-critical of Diaz doing; hiring guys from his own network and what not.

All Norvell did here was hire his old buddy from Arizona State. What the **** "moves" are being "made" here. Relax.

people think that every move from someone else is 100xbetter than the moves we’re not making. Yes people praised the**** out of that FSU OL hire and he actually made the OL worse...

Lol I agree. I've never heard of this guy. I'll take your word for it OP if you think it's a big time hire.

Lol at anyone labeled as a great coordinator or position coach coming here. Manny will be gone soon. I hate to say that but he isn’t ready for the big lights. Miami won’t be Miami again until you get the big wigs (BOT) out of role or for them to care about the football program. Then you need a competent coach and staff to develop players.
Another issue is the university isn’t starving anymore because they joined the ACC. The revenue is there constantly while back in the day we needed major bowl games to generate extra revenue for the school. The BOT is getting full off the hog and have become complacent.
