I don't disagree with your points (except #3...the defense was very soft on that drive and gave the reptiles a glimmer of hope...we didn't even force them to burn clock). My point is very simple, and I don't know why you guys are trying to make it so complicated. They were able to sustain some drives (4 drives over 4 mins into the early 3rd Q), and there were times when they were having some success moving the ball and converting on 3rd down. Those drives often didn't amount to anything, because the defense made some big plays at very opportune times. That's the important thing, but it doesn't take away that UF.ag was able to move the ball at times. I fully understand that UF.ag is one of the top teams in the 'best' conference, and we should expect them to have some success. I'm not at all disappointed or upset with the performance of the defense against UF.ag, but you guys get all panty-bunched because I point out that they had some success moving the ball at times. Whatever.
Because your point is that if we suck in all aspects of the ball game (defense, offense and turnovers) we are going to lose. This is not some profound philosophy by Voltaire, this is common sense. If we suck, we will lose.
Your analysis of UF was wrong. I am not discussing this part any more so agree to disagree.
