I’m guessing they come after D Nic for DC? Would definitely help their recruiting.
Probably…. But idk if D Nic wants to walk into a situation where it could very possibly be a “lame duck” leading the nolies on the field next year. I know it’s his alma mater, but that wouldn’t be a good business move, IMO. Of course, stranger things have happened.

The article included Dan Mullen as an OC option. Yeah he is giving up his cushy TV job to go be Norvell's OC. Not even sure any of the other names they listed for OC are possible seeing as Norvell is the current OC/playcaller. Atkins only had the title to give him a pay bump. So unless Norvell is also giving up playcalling duties they can forget getting anyone of value there.

They really think they are poaching a guy from a NFL team. I know he was the DC at Wisky before but not sure someone is leaving a NFL job to go to FSU. No way they are out bidding SMU for a coach. Those boosters have deep pockets. Nicholson may want to one day be a DC so I guess he may leave to return to FSU but not sure if I was him I would want to hitch my wagon to that mess as my 1st DC job.

Born and raised in Badger country, Jim Leonhard is my favorite Badger player ever. 3x All BIG, 2x All American as a walk-on! Between Leonhard and ST26 the level of safety play I'd watch on Saturday's back then was incredible.

He comes from the early 00's Baltimore/NYJ Rex Ryan school of defense. Then was DB coach at Wisconsin under Dave Aranda before he left for LSU. Leonhard's defenses were excellent.

I'll die a little bit inside if I ever have to watch him on an FSU sideline.

I think Prime goes to the NFL… Jerry hires him and they trade Dak so they can draft his son
I could see Cleveland or Tennessee pulling the trigger and doing it.
I think this is what Prime wants.....but he's going to have to convince an NFL owner that he's worth it. I expect Prime to quit on Colorado the moment his son and Hunter step foot off campus, which will likely happen after their final game. If that's the type of guy you want leading your NFL franchise.....good luck.

Brennan Marion would be a good hire if Norvell gave up play calling. He's from the Malzhan tree with his own twist with the Go-Go option offense he installed at Howard University. I couldn't see him going if he wasn't going to call plays. He just got back to calling plays at UNLV.
