Not calling you out at all and somewhat agree about their fall, but where are you finding CU with two top 25 classes? Are you counting the transfers? Per 247, they only brought in 12 HS players last year and were ranked 95th. The year before, they were ranked #30 for HS recruits and the big bump was because of Cormani. They're also #79 this year - even though that's not over. He has added some talent, but will be depending on the portal a lot once again.

Their HS recruiting is poo poo and its still poo poo. 247 got them with the 80th class with only 10 guys signed. I'm pretty sure he is including transfers

Prison Mike released his two coordinators and Dugans because he might as well start the inevitable new hire process early. it will be hard enough to hire quality replacements so there’s no reason to wait until December or January.

All three coaches will wake up Monday morning grateful not to have to step foot in another staff meeting or practice at Florida State.

8 ACC teams are currently ahead of FSU in recruiting right now. One of them is Stanford! Miami, Ga Tech, SMU, Clemson, Duke, Pittsburgh, Stanford and Syracuse are all ahead of FSU in the rankings.

Ok but who? There's this obsession with the portal when reality is the success stories are based mostly on luck because they either have a long injury history, talented backup behind great QBs which their aren't many this year or QBs who could've went to the draft but decided to stick it out like Cam. I mean whenever I ask who might be the plan it's always " I have no idea we'll just find somebody" again that's hope and prayer and how you'll make a mistake
Did you know who was going to be available at this time last year? Of course not because we’re not privy to any of the back channeling that goes on in college football. Tampering is against the rules but everyone knows that most of these transfers know where they’re going before they even hit the portal.

There may not be a ton of sure fire first round quarterbacks but there will likely be plenty of capable starters. Miami will be an appealing job for a guy looking to improve his draft stock and play with a better supporting cast. Look how easy Oregon was able to get Dillion Gabriel to transfer from what was not a bad situation at Oklahoma.

We shouldn’t expect Cam level transfers because that’s unrealistic but there will be plenty of B level guys available who could become A level guys when surrounded by the right talent.

They really think they are poaching a guy from a NFL team. I know he was the DC at Wisky before but not sure someone is leaving a NFL job to go to FSU. No way they are out bidding SMU for a coach. Those boosters have deep pockets. Nicholson may want to one day be a DC so I guess he may leave to return to FSU but not sure if I was him I would want to hitch my wagon to that mess as my 1st DC job.
