Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

Hindsight is undefeated, but that 10.5 line looking back now was a clear indicator that FSU had no business being a top 10 team. Just feel like that wasn't discussed enough leading up to the game, especially by the big media outlets.

Watching CGD, they just ran with the same recycled BS from last year. It's a Canes world this year.

They win 8-9 games and treat him like crap and a school like South Carolina bombs this year I could see his agent getting him in that mix.
He just got a ten year extension, but the buyout is ridiculously low.

I think he stays on for at least three more seasons, unless this year is a 5-7/6-6 year which would put him on the hot seat for next season. Worst case scenario for FSU is that he pulls a Bo Pelini and goes 8-4/9-3 over these next three years.

Can also confirm this, from a friend who is plugged in at Bama. It was Lanning then Deboer. They kicked the tires on Sarkisian but that was treated more as a formality (we’d be crazy not to ask scenario) than reality.

As for Lanning, was told by an Oregon friend that the school was ready to break the bank to keep him. They were not going to get another coach poached regardless of the cost.

And as for Norvell, he was only a third or fourth option. Lane Kiffin also had not shot. A bunch of Bama boosters and the AD despise him. Could be a target for Florida if Napier gets canned, though I’m skeptical he’d take that job.
Why wouldn't Kiffin take the Gaytor job?

In all honesty, is Ole Miss a demonstrably worse job rn? UF fires Napier, no coach made more than 4 years since Spurrier, other than Meyer. Insane pressure, unrealistic expectations. They are essentially Miami, and let’s call it what it was Mario only came here cause he’s an alum.

Those all good points, however, UF does have NC's to point to and it's living in FL as opposed to Mississippi. Look, I think Kiffin is a top 5 coach, so I hope he never goes to: UF, FSU, ND or Bama.

There’s a few reasons. Before that though, I will say that one SEC friend that’s pretty connected is convinced that Kiffin goes to UF. I disagree for a few reasons.

(1) Expanded CFP gives Ole Miss a decent chance at the playoff year to year. He doesn’t need to win his division to make it.

(2) Kiffin has a good thing going at Ole Miss. by all accounts he loves living in Oxford and has planted roots there (this is from the same connected SEC friend).

(3) UF is going to be a complete rebuild. Top to bottom. He’ll also have to recruit against us and the other SEC big boys with more frequency than he has to now. At this point in his career, does he want to embark on a rebuild when he has a good thing going at Ole Miss? I say no but who knows.

Last year. Watched the whole game. BC handed them the win with turnovers. They dominated FSU majority of the game.

They will run for over 200yds on them. Comes down to turnovers. It’s BC first game verse FsU second game. Typically advantage for the team that’s already played but they are having to fly back from Ireland after that loss. Do they have the leaders to get the team back focused for next Monday night at home? If they go 0-2 it’s going to get ugly. It’s already must win season for Mikey
Didn’t BC commit something like 17,18, 19 penalties? Believe it was a school record for most penalties in a game.

My guess it will be a dogfight if BC can play more disciplined..
