Jimbo went 10-4, 9-4, 12-2 with an ACC Championship his first 3 years.

Their biggest problem going forward is that they're flat broke. There will be a chasm between Miami and FSU in about 3 to 4 years.

Honestly, they should keep Norvell. Maybe he hits on a couple portal guys and keeps them in bowl contention during his tenure there. It's the best they can hope for.

They have to absolutely crush it at QB to have any chance of winning a national championship. It's proven you need to recruit in the top 5, or have a NFL quarterback, and recruit in the top 15 to win a championship. Right now, they have neither.

An old teammate of mine is an FSPoo alum and booster. He told me that after the Natty Jimbo became such an ******* that a lot of booster donations dried up. He expected them to treat him like little Nicky and they weren't having it. They also didn't care for the national black eye he gave the program with the JW fiasco. Then they over paid for Willie and then had to pay to get rid of him. Loss of income from donations plus money going out the door for coaches that aren't there plus paying for new coaches equals poverty.
