They didn't want this smoke...I seriously doubt ND demanded to play a Florida team. I'm absolutely convinced they said they didn't want to play Miami.

Al Mullins and Willie Golden??...Jesus...how rolls have reversed man, i feel like fsu and uf took al golden and split him in half to coach both teams.
Right now it’s looking like the only hope is to win big. I’m not sure he’s going to be able to do that. I think he is a good coach as well. But Clemson every year. Louisville on upswing, UNC on upswing, UF every year, and us. Not sure how big they can win in next few yearsNorvell is a good coach but if he keeps getting man handled on the trail like this.. it will not end well for him.
And throw in a bit of Larry Coker's recruiting of QBs from 2005 and 2006....as in no blue chip quarterbacks.Al Mullins and Willie Golden??...Jesus...
They will likely make adjustments to the staff each year, but it's going to be an uphill climb. This year's schedule doesn't do them any favors.Right now it’s looking like the only hope is to win big. I’m not sure he’s going to be able to do that. I think he is a good coach as well. Despite them being hot garbage the last few seasons, they were playing with a ton of 4 and 5 star kids. Jimbo didn't exactly leave the cupboard empty. Most of those kids have moved on and Taggart was hit and miss with recruiting and now Norvell is miss and miss with his recruiting.I'll add that F$U's roster figures to be weaker this year than last and possible even worse in '21.
