Right now it’s looking like the only hope is to win big. I’m not sure he’s going to be able to do that. I think he is a good coach as well. But Clemson every year. Louisville on upswing, UNC on upswing, UF every year, and us. Not sure how big they can win in next few years
 
Who is more demented as a fan base.. FSU OR UIF?

FSU acts like we haven’t slammed them 3 years in a row. FSU is in for a rude awakening. 3 ****** years of subpar recruiting and never signing a QB over that time is gonna sting.

And all UIF can talk about is scUM, our attendance, and last years record. Yes they have had 2 good seasons, but eventually that will wear off considering their lack of recruiting prowess. Not too mention the non qualifying kids/ transfers.

It’s comical.

They will likely make adjustments to the staff each year, but it's going to be an uphill climb. This year's schedule doesn't do them any favors.

Despite them being hot garbage the last few seasons, they were playing with a ton of 4 and 5 star kids. Jimbo didn't exactly leave the cupboard empty. Most of those kids have moved on and Taggart was hit and miss with recruiting and now Norvell is miss and miss with his recruiting.

Norvell has his work cut out for him. The cupboard is pretty bare up there, they are facing a budget deficit which makes things a little harder for them and he doesnt have any solid recruiters on staff especially those with ties to SFLA.

However FSU is a lot like us in the fact that if he can keep them competitive in games, have a respectable record and even win some games they probably shouldn't then his turn around time will be much shorter perhaps.

If he cant then its gonna be misery for them in Tally because he is gonna be there longer than Willie. They will not be able to afford to fire another coach after 1.5 seasons like they did. Which will dig their hole that much deeper
