Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

A better comparison would be Harbaugh, but you're missing the point that he's much more Pete's style (fun, dudes holding hands, kumbaya) than he is Urban, Saban, or that ilk.

or..... maybe he shouldn’t be compared to any of those dudes because in his 4th head coaching job he has a losing record.

Scott Frost took 0-12 UCF to 12-0 in less time. Sorry I’m not impressed by Taggerts one 10 win season. It’s important to note USF (with a good QB) played 4 teams with a winning record that season and went 2-2. Any lame duck coach can win in a crappy conference. In fact, if you don’t dominate the crappy conference then you’re probably the suck.

Right, now how about WT's other two stops? And what about your point demonstrates that WT can't coach well? My point is there more evidence that he can coach than there is to support he can't.

Also, you're not impressed by Taggert's one 10 win season in the AAC but you are impressed by Scott Frost's one double digit win season in the AAC in the two seasons he's been a HC? Frost has as many winning seasons as he has losing ones in the same conference as Taggart...

How do you sound?

Look i'm not here to take up for WT by any stretch but y'all gotta take of the cane shades on this one. He might suck, but there's no evidence that he will.

You gotta look at what he inherited. Look at Pete Carroll's pro record coaching NE before he got fired, and Belichick's before he got fired from the Browns. Willie has never been fired and he's on Job 4.

Don't be simple.

So Jimbo recruited at an unreal level because UF and Miami were down. UF and Miami will be better now and Taggart so even more reason Taggart won’t out recruit Jimbo. He’s not 1/4th the coach Jimbo is either so...

Y'all sound scared of the dude... I'm just saying there's more than 50 good players in Florida and he's bound to get couple in the top 50 because they may be FSU fans (Akeem Dent). Jimbo did a good job with execution and had talented players, but let's not oversell the guy either, his players quit last season. I've never seen WT's players quit. In fact, it's the opposite and i've seen them play very hard.

That's all i'm saying should be expected. A talented team that plays hard.

You’re comparing NFL teams where GM’s make most of the decisions to college where Head football coaches rule all. Doesn’t compute. Show me great college coaches that had a losing record on their fourth head coaching job.

Jumbos players won a national championship. Taggerts players have one season an over eight wins playing all losing teams. Please keep comparing

Anyway, I gotta get up early, y'all. Feel free to get @ me on this--it's been fun.

To the dude that sent me that soft *** PM...eat a pickle, bruh. And get a life.

Frost went 12-0 in his one try as head coach and nobody is promising he’ll be a good coach at Nebraska. You see how that’s better than third try Willie with a career losing record?

I'm talking about records not making the coach, and read post #49.

GO CANES!!!

Wow...and I thought mat drills were ***.

This chit reminds me of my time overseas with Mullah ***oloona, and having to hold hands with him and call him Habibi in order to get the fücker to do our bidding and schwack terrorists...good times, at least my hand holding led to the hammer being dropped ;)

No. Same conference. Less overall experience, wins, bowl games. It's about the same, if that.

Scott Frost
Career Record: 3 Years, 19-7, .731 Win% (at major schools)
Bowl Record: 2 Games, 1-1, .500 Win%
Willie Taggart
Career Record:
9 Years, 47-50, .485 Win% (at major schools)
Bowl Record: 2 Games, 1-1, .500 Win% (at major schools)

Nah, doesn’t look the same.

you are correct. WKU was bowl eligible but didn't get the bid.

WT took over several ****** teams and coached 8 seasons before he got his break at FSU, whereas Frost got his break after 1 great season at UCF and 2 seasons overall.

There are lies, **** lies, and then statistics.

So let's just take a step back and say the evidence of either failing isn't necessarily there, because both have always coached teams that have shown improvement in the W/L column each year.

Scott coached one program to success two years after 0-12. Can you show me one COLLEGE coach who turned out good after 9 season with a losing record?

8 seasons, this is number 9.

Frost was 6-7 his first season and 12-0 his second. If Frost coached a WKU team that lost 26 straight he might have had some more losing seasons as well. It's a matter of opportunity and timing that doesn't really support the point you're trying to make.
