Its a massive amount of money to pay, get a new staff, etc. Your football fans would be thrilled but your academic/NARP's would be furious and would bring up any crack in a classroom wall, dorm that is out of date, etc.

UF isn't that big of a buyout ... FSU on the other hand is a major financial hit that FSU cannot afford unless some booster(s) pony up $50-60M.

There’s also the stigma that fspoo will be firing a guy who won 10 and 13 games. It’s kinda like the gaytors at this point. Burning through coaches. Macelshark won the East twice and then first bad year is canned. Mullet went to two ny6 games and first bad year canned. Billy Bob 3 bad years so a bit different

And "stadium not selling out"...this guy is unaware that a chunk of Joke Crap-bell Stadium is CLOSED for renovation? I understand "no-shows", but they sold all the AVAILABLE tickets already, off the strength of their "undefeated 13-1 season".

Yes.

It's not a one-year turnaround. It's just not. The damage has been done.

He MIGHT be able to pull off a two-year turnaround that will be just as fragile as what he did in 2022-2023.

He will need three full years to build a stable and sustainable turnaround. I'm not so sure that the F$U fans and admin are going to be that patient.

There is legit something wrong with this guy. Not because of just this one pic, but all the pics and strange behavior over the last year. Lot of weird dudes out there, but Norvell is on another level.

I know I give Manny Diaz a hard time for being weird and goofy. Manny is just a nerd trying to act tough, but he's a good man and not a creep. I'm going to stop comparing Manny to Norvell and vice versa. Norvell deserves his own category.
