Ill never forget being at Miramar High with Geno, Stedman and Coach Damon Cogdell the WVU alum. He was in their ear but he wanted them to be happy and their #1 choice was Miami yet Randy didn't even try to recruit them so they went to WVU and broke records because of this clown and MAYBE if Geno came Jeremiah might be here now

The Nole fans just keep saying the same crap when it comes to us, "They wont have Cam after this year so its a one year wonder type year".."They arent winning the national title anyway either"..Its all they have to soften the blow of their horrible downfall..

that said..I guess it begs the question..How do you rebuild after this? a 2-10/3-9 season? How do you convince assistant coaches to sign up for this if they are not sure FSU will retain Norvall after next year if the doesnt win 8-9 games? IMO...isnt the ONLY solution to fire Norvall? And just hit the reset button? I know people are saying money is the issue..but man, you are going to lose even more money next season when ticket sales are lagging. You cant ask the fan base to pour more money into this. You basically have thrown in the towel for 2025 if you keep Norvall.

Correct. This is a lose lose situation for them. Keep Norvell, recruiting is set back another 1-2 years, they sign coaches who are desperate to get a name like fsu on their resume but probably don't deserve it, they won't be able to attract good talent in the portal, and ticket sales and donations will tank. Fire him, and they are set back years financially. What good coach is going to want to come in and inherit a crappy roster and broken down culture? Their agent will push for extra years and $ to have their client step into that mess. Anybody with a pulse is probably in the portal before they get on the bus after the gator game.

This meltdown is something most of us could have never dreamed of. To top it all off, these clowns are suing the ACC to get out when they are 1-8 and getting embarrassed weekly. I have to imagine the ACC suits are having their daily huddle where they just laugh at fsu for 10 minutes and then go back to work. What conference would want that steaming pile of cow dung now? Hopefully the ACC gives them the boot in a few years and they have to go join the Mountain West or Pac-whatever it is now.

I’m starting to get a feeling about that Charleston Southern game.

I know it’s far-fetched for a P5 team, even as ****** FSU is, they still have mid tier P5 talent and should easily beat a really really bad Charleston Southern team, but I’m getting a “we don’t give a **** anymore” vibe from FSU players.

In addition, prison Mike looks like he has just given up, if you have watched even just a few minutes of his press conferences.

is their record the same or better with a healthy dj? I’m going same. He’d have thrown atleast 2 picks against us

Honest to God, I believe had he played in our game, you could’ve tacked on another two touchdowns to that final score, just based on his interceptions and just generally ****** play as a quarterback,

Their offense literally would’ve been worse, probably the most they would’ve scored would’ve been three points or maybe a garbage touchdown, but that would’ve been it.

Can't argue that point!
Because he didn't come in and beat FSU. He came in midway thru the 2nd qtr for an injured Kyle Wright. FSU was leading 17-14. We were already in FG position when Freeman came in. We ended up settling for a FG. Basically, Kirby Freeman came in when the score was tied. Wasn't like we were losing by 40 points and he led some historic comeback.

After coming in, Freeman proceeded to go 4-11 for 59 yards, 2 INTS, and 1 TD. We were down 29-24 until that final drive where Kirby did throw the TD to put us up 30-29. I do give him credit for that, but he was the reason we almost lost the game. Thank God FSU turned it over 6 times, including that last fumble recovery returned for a TD by McCarthy to seal the game.
