–Noah Grubbs: From a mechanical standpoint, there's a lot to like with Grubbs. He was dealing with some back tightness, but powered through the pain and ended up making plenty of high-level tosses. Grubbs proved to be one of the best at connecting on in-breaking routes over the middle and was sharp with his footwork. He lit up scoreboards as a sophomore at Lake Mary, finishing the year with 3,670 passing yards and 49 touchdowns. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Miami and plenty of others are already making Grubbs a priority in the 2026 cycle.
My latest pick has Notre Dame eventually landing a commitment from Lake Mary (Fla.) high school class of 2026 four-star quarterback Noah Grubbs.
I've written about the 6-4, 188-pounder multiple times as it pertains to the Fighting Irish. I believe quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli and offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock have given Notre Dame the lead in this recruitment. There are surely others in play such as Ohio State, Texas A&M, Michigan, Florida, Miami, UCF, Auburn, Nebraska and North Carolina, but I believe the Irish are sitting on top right now.
When looking at Notre Dame's quarterback offers in 2026, Grubbs makes the most sense. I believe the Fighting Irish lead, been told that by a variety of sources, and he seems closer to making a decision than others on the offer board. Notre Dame would love to land his commitment. We'll see if anyone beats him to the punch, but I think he could be a guy that commits this summer before his junior season.
Doesn’t seem like he has any solid intel from Grubbs side.
