No Surprise.. Kerr Just De-Committed

He's a good player that would have filled a need on this team...the team doesn't have an array of good, quality blocking tight ends...Kerr would have played a bunch here over his 4-5 year career. May not have caught a lot of balls, but would have been in on a lot of 2-3 TE sets if he wasn't converted to tackle.

If we were going to go after another TE, I'd hit up Travis Johnson. Like Kerr, as a player he fills a niche.

but we just brought in 2 recieving TEs, a 3rd would seem like overkill when we have limited ships and much bigger needs on the other side of the ball

I've been saying this all year but we just can't be taking 3-4 tight ends in a class of 17-18 kids. Sandland and Standish make Kerr less of a priority at TE, and Sonny makes him less of a priority as a developmental tackle. We have better options committed at both positions. It is what it is and it happens every year.

With all of our remaining targets and the max class size, this makes sense 100%. I would much rather all the remaining guys on our board over Kerr.

Keef gonna Keef. Aint even that worried anymore. If he comes I'm happy if he doesn't so be it, not a fan of the soap opera his recruitment has become.

Honeslty, I didnt want Kerr after sandland. I was hoping he left so we can give his spot to someone who will be better. I am happy with standish and Sandland.
