I’m saying we’re missing a lot less these days on HUGE DB targets - and the only difference is Ed & Telly being on staff. Doesn’t mean Banda can’t recruit. But we all know the head2head battles we’ve lost on the trail. With that said - I welcome the change!!! Love it.

Banda was the only coach who went head to head with Bama for a high ranked recruit & beat'em.

And that was before Reed, DVD or Cooney was ever even on staff.

The real difference is that during this pandemic there's really no Bags, the Big money boosters at the bag schools don't have access to OOS recruits anymore because visits have been cancelled & because the economy is basically in recession these Boosters are not throwing cash left & right like they used to. Everybody is tight with their checkbooks during the current economic downturn of Covid.

Without bags we can pretty much beat any team for a South FL recruit, the edge those schools always had over us was the ability to cheat under the table.

I don't have any beef with Georgia, so IMO save the "Tears" stuff for the 'Turds.

I wish they would have gotten the W once or twice against Bama, because those fans fall apart.

I see UGA falling down the same dangerous well other programs do when they start having consistent success-- the "national" recruit.

They built up a strong program mainly using players from Georgia and the SE. It's hard to pass up on that shiny 5 start from Cali, but when it's at the expense of a local player from a feeder district, it takes more thought than most give it. Jimbo Fischer anyone?
