No love for Quarterman

Shaq's got 69 tackles on the season, with 2 Sacks & a 1TD.

He had 7.5TFL's on the season after the Pitt game, Idk if that's increased since then, I'm sure it has though... (Anybody that has the stats correct me if I'm wrong).

First of all Shaq gets all types of props here. So Idk what you're talking about.

Second of all, He is very good for a freshman, and has show the potential to be one of the best LBs to come through here, BUT he has not surpassed what DP has done here. Shaq deserves all types of props, but don't say hes better than DP already when thats just not true. I think he has a good chance to be better, but he's got a lot of work to do still. **** right now its easily arguable Pinckney is having a better season anyway.

I was hoping he meant compared to the same time frame. Than his progress is far ahead of dp at the time. Honestly though the argument could be made either way. Although dp played in a horrible scheme he was a monster against the run, yet one of our worst ever in pass protection. In that regard Shaq is already passed dp.

Hate to tell you but Shaq most certainly is the unquestioned leader of that defense. Not really sure what makes you think Denzel was any part of that. He had moments where he could be vocal but that came late in his time with us. Jermaine was actually the vocal one out of that squad.

All 3 of the freshman LBs look good - Quarterman and Pinckney especially....

I hope we get the JUCO LB in next year's class, though - we need to add a bit more seasoning to the LB corps....

It is amazing how well all three of the frosh have played. Not to mention they have all managed to not sustain a major injury. Very impressed by all three.

This is the most amazing part of it all. I thought for sure they'd break down throughout the year. Unreal that they've only suffered a few dings. Credit Gus Felder.
