Hadn't watched Njoku's film before - he's supposed to be a backup plan for Griffin

Sheeeeit, sign this kid up

I don't know that he's a backup plan, but how many WRs come out who can high jump 7 feet, and being 6'4" already. I haven't looked at his video but I'm assuming it looks good enough and as I have tried to point out in other threads, that is rare leaping ability. If it is translated into ball skills, he could be very problematic for defenses. It's nice to have blazing speed, and exceptional quickness, but it's also great to have height advantage and leaping ability.

I think it means nothing about Griffen, or Dixon, or any other recruit. That being said, I don't get a good vibe about Dixon, given what I've been reading, but who knows?

if he had a committable offer then why not pull the trigger based off the article?

He seems to be getting a lot of late attention since his decommit from Rutgers (just based on reading.)

OSU is now in the picture and that is also a very bigtime program. I don't blame a kid for doing his due diligence and checking out all available options. I wish he would commit--I don't like the fact OSU is involved--but if I were in his shoes I might want to look around and see what's out there. I did that when I went to college--and I was not an athlete--and I can't blame a kid for doing the same with a combination of athletics and education. It's a big decision.

The fact that Meyer is involved and seriously interested suggests that he is not a mediocre prospect.

S.I.A.P.

Does this Njoku guy remind anyone of Robert Williams? Big receiver (came in much more highly touted and played against far better competition) who outgrew the WR position and was a decent H-Back/FB for us in the late 90's?

****. Great hands, great after the catch, nice stride, not afraid to go up and get the ball! Definitely want.

Don't think he will grow into a traditional TE since he's listed at 217 can be 230 easily, but his stride is awesome and he's faster than he looks because of his long strides. Knows how to keep defenders off him. I like the various ways his HS OC uses him in multiple positions. Wish our OC would move players around and stop that silly look to the side line crap, like in 3 seconds he's diagnosed the defense and called the perfect play. Sorry can't help my self. Dude looks like a big, fast, physical, and versatile receiver.
