Well that’s the story with Most players in the Portal or they wouldn’t be in the Portal. They specifically said not a good fit. Which can mean a a bunch of things. But certain teams who have recruited certain positions at a high level have that luxury. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery? Miami is in no position to Not kick the tires though!

Apparently Texas halted funds on the retention payment lol! Sydir is back in the Transfer portal as of this week and has been removed from the UT roster.

With Silver commiting to USC, that leaves Jarrett & Mitchell as the top NT'S in the transfer portal still available; UM needs one of these big boi's.

Sydir Mitchell has left Texas football and entered the portal. No, really.

The redshirt sophomore had been waffling about staying, and Texas football could use a big body in the interior of the line next season.
