Surprised Kentucky actually took him. Kid is 5'10 180. Stop with this Baker Mayfield nonsense...South florida has a million 5'10 dual threat qbs every class that go nowhere. He isnt a fit here at all.

I'd take the flyer on him. It's a mistake if you're trying to build your program around him but as someone to come in and compete for a job 3-4 years from now he's a fit. Program filler isn't a terrible thing and we need a QB in this class in case one or both of Weldon or JW want out after seeing Kosi win the job. He might be a career back up, but just because he's had success against the best competition in the country means he's got some upside. By the ticket and take the ride rather than skipping QB in this class. If you've got someone better, fine but he's a fine backup for where we are with Kosi.

I agree, but maybe the staff thinks its still early, too early to fully pursue him while they are looking for guys that arent fliers.

The kid is a beast and like someone said, the only thing holding him back is height...

Does it matter what the only thing holding him back is? Something's holding him back, he doesn't have the complete package so he's unlikely to get bigtime offers.

Goin to see him tonight agsinst Heritage, Last year might have been the best high school game i ver ever seen. Hope it is half as exciting

As much as Miami is in the shotgun, I dont see height being an issue. He kind of reminds me of Brock Berlin with less arm although his arm strength is pretty good when he's stepping into his throw. His arm is better than many QBs weve had at Miami. Again, I think he'd be good filler for this class.

Nope. I’ve seen him torch a loaded defense from time to time. Remember the American Heritage D? 44-0. Southridge? 27-6

Only team he struggled against was Central.
44-0?? whatahell are you talking about. American Heritage won that game 59-58 in overtime

Your only saying that **** because he is from SoFla. Might as well recruit Richardson from CC.
