Junior Season Highlights - Nick Brahms highlights - Hudl
So I had a slow day at work today and I was running through bleacher report and I found this report( Meet Nick Brahms, the Nation's Most Underrated High School Recruit | Bleacher Report) on Nick Brahms and he recently visited Miami. He won a spot in the opening so I decided to check him out and I really came away impressed
Nick Brahms absolutely mauls people at the point of attack, he has a relentless motor, he stay low to win rather than using strength and combines that with good hands and feet, you can see in the video that he can swing and pull just as good as anybody and that's usually hard for prospects that played tackle and are asked to transition to guard at any level, most importantly he's one mean dude !!. If he comes here he needs to put on weight, he's only 270 at the moment but I think he gets in the rotation his first year if he comes in at 290. His potential is through the roof and I'm boggled how overlooked and underrated he is.

Everything the opening coaches saw at the New Orleans camp is true but he doesn't have an offer from us and I think CMR is making a mistake by not offering him before he completely blow up and we end up playing the catch up game.
This is what he said about his visit when he was here:
In-state ACC power Miami is the last school to host Brahms on a visit, but he plans on hitting up a few more schools in the coming weeks and months.
“I really like Miami. It’s like a paradise down there. [Offensive Line] Coach [Stacy] Searels is a great man. I feel like I can learn a lot from him. I enjoyed it down there,” Brahms said. “I’m also going to go to Oregon, Mississippi State again, Tennessee again and Vanderbilt. I want to go to Miami again and also Louisville.”
As impressive as his feats on the field are, Brahms is also getting it done in the classroom.
Brahms reports a 4.5 GPA with tentative plans to major in either business or engineering. He also noted that it is possible that he could arrive at the school of his choice in January as an early enrollee.
